Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  •   Responds to service requests as needed utilizing resources to effectively repair and ensure the safety and availability of Arnet systems and equipment.
  •   Performs the job function in compliance with safety, health, environmental, and governmental regulations, and in compliance.
  •   Supports machine setups as needed in supporting production daily goals.
  •   Ensures the plant is clean and free of debris or clutter.
  •   Performs record keeping functions (CMMS) such as documenting maintenance work performed and recording unusual operating conditions.
  •   Performs various types of tests on mechanical and electrical equipment (Amperage, Volts, resistance).
  •   Contributes to the efficiency of the department by offering suggestions and participating as an active member of the team.
  •   Evaluates equipment and machine operation for repair needs.
  •   Supports installation of new equipment
  •   Removes and repairs various equipment and components.
  •   Repairs hydraulic and pneumatic assemblies.
  •   Other duties as required or directed.

Qualifications

  •   Bilingual English/Spanish required.
  •   High school diploma or GED required (Associate degree, Trade School Certificate and/or Military Technical Training, a plus) Equivalent work experience may be substituted for technical/vocational experience. College or formal technical school education with demonstrated aptitude and skills in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and welding techniques preferred.
  •   3- 5  years of experience in the maintenance industry, preferably in GMP environment.
  •   Technical Knowledge in Packaging processes (bottling and Blister)
  •   Must have legible handwriting, and the ability to perform accurate documentation.
  •   Good basic math skills.
  •   Must be organized, capable of following instructions, and have the ability to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously.
  •   Contributing effectively to the accomplishment of team unit goals, objectives, and activities.
  •   Understand SOPs, GMP, safety guidelines and have the ability to complete all required documentation.
  •   Should be familiar with safety protocols associated with lock out/tag out.
  •   Ability to work without close supervision and to set one’s own priorities.
  •   Ability to frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  •   Ability to stand and walk for lengthy periods of time.
  •   Proficient with computer systems.

Other: Work Schedule: Monday to Friday- 6am to 2:30pm
